Apart from all the good governance that she delivers to the people of Uttar Pradesh, she also takes up role of policy making for the country thereby strengthening her claim to be the avatar of Bhimrao Ambedkar (en route Kanshiram).

Mayawati: why no Dalit on Lokpal panel?

Yes Maya ji, the Lokpal Bill Drafting panel must be reconstituted. First there must be a panel for finalising the reservations in the panel named Lokpal Bill Drafting Panel Selection Panel. 

Recommended members:

1. Her highness Mayawati Ji (Chairman)

2. His highness Digvijay Singh (Co-Chairman)

3. Lalu Prasad Yadav

4. M Karunanidhi

5. A(ny) Raja

And the recommendations for the reservations will be of this sort:

OBCs : 27%

SC: 15%

ST: 8%

Jats: 3%

Muslims: 10%

Christians: 3%

Poor among Forward Castes:6% 

Leaving 18% for general category of which 50% must be reserved for 'Civil' Politicians (recommended by Diggy). 

To fulfill this, there must be at least 100 members in the panel else we need to count legs and hands as people. The tenure must be a minimum of 5 Years which can be extended upto 50 years as needed. 

On another note, a hoarding(with a few misprints) in a UP town wishing Maya on her birthday comes to my mind:

I was just wondering this would have been a good name for them the way they were killing giants one by one: MI, CSK and KKR.

But, now they have Proved that:

Machaane aur makhaane me bas ek letter ka fark hai.... and they seem to be having lots of it... (Kochi TusKer Kerala) 

And uff! They won't get any points for this!

By the way, even if they don't play well, its always worth a watch.

Great Combination!

A good man if not a godman

My tributes to the great philanthropist Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

In a crowd of strongly communal religious leaders, he will stand out with his distinguished aura and mass appeal for long time to come in Indian history.

I believe it part of human psychology to search for negative sides of towering personalities and if not able to find it, create it. Above all controversies, the volumes of philanthropist works done by his trust reflect his true philosophy, more in action than in words. Whether it be construction of canals or establishing exemplary academic institutions, without any political or financial motive in a nation where corruption is integral to human behavior, definitely sounds divine.

My salute to a human being par excellence.
